from Hervey Bay, World Heritage Listed Fraser Island will leave you
feeling charmed and captivated.
The only effective means of transport on Fraser Island is by four Wheel drive vehicles. There are a number of vehicle ferries departing and returning to the island at regular intervals. Fraser Island has to main access points with barges departing from Hervey Bay and Rainbow Beach. The Barges depart from River Heads (Hervey Bay) to Kingfisher Bay - River Heads to Wanggoolba Creek - Urangan (Hervey Bay) to Moon Point - Inskip Point (Rainbow Beach) to Hook Point. |
